First, I got asked just three quick questions in a survey, then suddenly they mentioned a free cruise. Not long after, some bloke rings me up trying to pitch this so-called free cruise deal. Definitely feels like a scam to me!

I just don’t pick up the phone anymore. I let it keep ringing, then wait until the message light starts flashing. If there’s a real message, I ring back right away and it’s always someone genuine on the other end. Most telemarketers won’t even bother leaving a message. Usually, they hang up after just a few rings.

Honestly, it’s a proper nuisance, I’m telling ya.
