I just submitted a complaint to the FCC about this, hopefully they’ll take action soon. You can file a report online too, it’s pretty straightforward.

got a call from someone saying they work with JMS marketing, apparently a big name in sending folks off to the Bahamas. they’re offering a free cruise if i just write a review for them. then asked me, "that sounds good, yeah?" totally sounded like a scripted bot or something. i just ended the call. once they have your number, good luck getting them to stop calling...

For a whole week, this number kept ringing me every single day. When I picked up, there was this automated message claiming to be from the "Internal Revenue Services," warning me about supposed tax problems and saying they'd take me to court. Thing is, the genuine IRS never sent me any letter or official notice. Also, calling themselves "services" in the plural just doesn’t sound right and made me suspect it was a scam.

Someone from somewhere rang me twice recently, asking what I'd do if I suddenly came into two million pounds. I suppose they wanted me to say something along the lines of giving it to them or spending it on them. After I said I'd probably spend it on my house, they told me they'd ring back another time. She might not be dodgy, just really lonely and craving a bit of company. She kicked off with, "This is Ashley, are you okay?" and I was thinking... huh? She quickly repeated her name and who she was with. Seeing as it's nearly Halloween, maybe she needs some proper help.

Some woman called me, said her name was Ashley and that she was from some North-something company. She told me I’d won some kind of sweepstakes with a shot at a million pounds, plus a telly, a car, and a bunch of other stuff. She kept going on about needing my details to claim the prize, but I told her no way was she entering anything until she answered my question. Then she just hung up on me. I tried ringing back and the phone only rang once before going dead quiet. Do these scammers really think I’m daft or what?

I got a call saying I was lucky enough to win some cash. When I asked if they needed my credit card details, they said yes, but only later in the form. I told them I didn’t have my card nearby, and then suddenly they said it wasn’t a good time and just ended the call.
