I received two phone calls from the same number with only a five-minute gap between them. The caller ID displayed a nearby town's location. Later that day, I received two more calls, again with a five-minute interval, but this time from a different phone number (484-798-0833), yet the location remained the same. It was incredibly irritating, and fortunately, I came across these comments. I fully concur with the notion that it's undoubtedly a scam, and now I am aware of the "can you hear me" trick! I will block both numbers without hesitation.

Please pay attention to my earlier comment! It is about a scam known as the "Can you hear me okay?" phone trick. Make sure you absolutely do not answer the call and respond with "yes" as they might be recording your voice to use it later for fraudulent activities, such as gaining access to your credit card details and other personal information. If possible, block the number and continue to avoid picking up the call. It's crucial to stay cautious and remain vigilant!

WARNING: BEWARE OF THE "CAN YOU HEAR ME" PHONE SCAM! Under no circumstances should you respond affirmatively with a "YES" if asked whether you can hear them. Scammers are using this tactic to capture your voice saying 'yes' and unlawfully gaining access to your financial details, including your credit card information, in order to manipulate your accounts using your own voice recognition! It is essential to stand firm and explicitly decline their offers, but never utter the word "yes." Recently, I received repeated calls from a person attempting to persuade me into booking a cruise. Don't be deceived by such tricks!
