Somebody rang from what sounded like an investment firm, spoke with a clear American accent. Honestly, I probably shouldn't have picked up.

They were definitely scamming, using a fake number to try and trick me.

got another call from one of those numbers that probs use voice activation. i reckon it’s some sort of autodialler. i didn’t answer or say anything, just waited and the call went dead after a bit of silence.

Twice a day I kept getting calls from this number. I picked up one time but there was absolutely nothing on the line, no noise, no voice, just silence. After a few moments the call just dropped. Eventually I had to block it.
