I got calls from this number claiming they were Microsoft tech support. They kept ringing me non-stop and it felt like spam more than anything. After I talked to them, my computer actually started acting up more. Honestly, steering clear of this number and 1-800-642-7676 is the best move. They’re so persistent, you’ll probably end up having to block their numbers to get some peace.

I looked it up and found it's linked to Microsoft. If you want to report anything dodgy, try [email protected]. The registries rdap.arin.net/Registry/entity/MSFT and Tdap.arin.net Registry/entity/MAC74-ARIN also show details about it. Seems legit to me.

Got a call from someone claiming they were from Microsoft, but it was a total scam trying to either nick money off me or grab my Microsoft license number to sell on. I blocked the number straight away - if you don’t, expect to be woken up by them every bloody morning for a good while! Stay clear and block ’em!

I think this number +14258828080 might have gotten into my Hotmail and Yahoo accounts. Whenever I try to log into Hotmail, it says my password or username is wrong, so I have to use my backup email, which is Yahoo. That’s when I noticed this number showing up. Also, I saw they have a Facebook linked to this number: Fb 20528438720 and a Twitter with ID 74286565. Can someone please help me sort this out? Thanks a lot!

A Chinese firm seems to be behind this number, pushing fancy clothing adverts. You pay up, but after that you never hear from them again. Loads of people around the world have been tricked like this. They scammed me too, using an email like MA [email protected]. Someone really ought to put an end to this.

Got a call in the dead of night but they didn’t leave a voicemail or anything, so I just ended up ignoring it. Eventually blocked the number since it was so suspicious.

Dont think this is a scam call. It was actually Microsoft support ringing me about something with my Office 365. No idea why someone else said it was suspicious! I missed the call but had already sent a tech request, and later they emailed me back so it was legit.

Hope this clears up any worries for others who saw that warning from "kipper" and got confused.

Some guy rang me at like 1:30 in the morning! I didn’t pick up, probably because the call showed as coming from the US and I’m here in Germany. Good thing I checked out these warnings before, really helped me not get caught out.
