He was curious about how I planned to use the money. When I casually mentioned that I’d prefer to receive it in cash via Western Union, he probed as to why I wasn’t opting for a Direct Deposit instead. I spun quite the yarn, explaining that I had previously fallen victim to a scam and lost my funds, leaving me in quite the dire situation. His tone quickly shifted, and he snapped, "I trust you’re not suggesting I’m trying to scam you?" I retorted that if that were the case, he was merely wasting my time.
