However, the number that popped up on my caller ID was a different one, originating from Burbank, California-818-239-1450. I attempted to return the call, but all I got was a recorded message stating that the number was no longer in operation. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

The voicemail I received was quite distressing, claiming that the IRS had been attempting to reach out to me and that this was my last warning-apparently, they were on the verge of filing a lawsuit against me. They provided a second number, 347-851-7110, for me to ring back. Curious, I attempted to contact the original number, only to be met with a message from Verizon indicating that the line has been cut off. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!
