I recently got a call that's remarkably similar to the one others have mentioned. An individual with a noticeable accent claimed to be Officer Jim Marshall representing the US Treasury Department. He talked about a case allegedly linked to my name and home address concerning a federal probe. The case was supposedly numbered 100177. Just today, at around 3:40 PM and then again at 5:20 PM GMT, I received a voicemail from a chap who initially seemed to be chatting away in Filipino with his mates. Suddenly, he realised I was on the line, took a moment to mention my name, and then promptly disconnected. Then, at 5:20, I got yet another call which I chose to ignore, allowing it to go straight to voicemail. This time, it was the same fella who identified himself as Officer Brad Williams from the US Treasury. He went on to say that there’s a criminal probe going on concerning me, and he even provided my home address. He claimed my complaint reference number was #CM100177 and insisted that I ring 347-779-8184 immediately. After hearing this, I knew I had to check this site, where I found a multitude of similar stories. Cheers for the valuable info, truly appreciate it!

I had a rather dubious phone call today from a chap who purported to be Sergeant Jason Harper, supposedly working for the Treasury Department. He was insisting that there was an arrest warrant issued against me for income tax evasion. The bloke demanded that I procure £2000 in cash to receive some kind of voucher that would supposedly clear the warrant. Quite the absurdity, if you ask me!
