Dec 14, 2022 at 3:28 pm. Regna, SK. We just let this call ring out and it never left any message. It’s classic scam behaviour, pretending to be from the U of S to hoodwink people. This kind of fraud is on the scale of organised crime and should be dealt with harshly, but local cops are too wrapped up in paperwork and jurisdiction squabbles to do much about it. Plus, they tend to choose which fraud cases are ‘civil’ based on their own biases. Particularly since those in power use similar shady methods themselves, giving them a free pass while punishing ordinary folks who try the same.

This number did ring me yesterday, quite suspicious! The person on the line claimed to be from the University of Saskatchewan doing some kind of survey. My phone showed the caller as CDN SOC RS CH, and the number was 306-966-2830. Does anyone know if they’re trying to get personal details or what’s the deal with this?

I got a call asking me to do a survey about safety in Brant County. They said it would only take around 15 minutes. I told them I couldn’t do it because I was too busy.
