I received a call from someone claiming to be from Microsoft support, trying to resolve an issue with my computer. It was obviously a scam!

I received a rather dubious call claiming to be from Microsoft, stating there was a problem with my Windows computer. Clearly, it was an attempt to extract personal information, possibly to facilitate hacking or some form of fraud. I told them that I do not entertain such calls and promptly hung up. Besides, I don’t even own a Windows machine!

Had a couple of calls today, Saturday 25th of June 2016. The first one at half seven and another at a quarter past nine. Didn't pick up, just the answering machine greeted them, and they left no message. Honestly, it's becoming quite tiresome with these frequent calls. Nearly every day! And honestly, calling at such an early hour is just absurd!

This number keeps calling me multiple times each day, but there’s never anyone to speak to when I answer! It's quite baffling, really.

Clearly a bunch of scammers, they've managed to ring me four times today alone. I've gone ahead and reported the calls to the Telephone Preference Service.

This number tried to get in touch with me four times today. However, since it was an overseas call, I chose not to pick up. Appreciate the details you've provided!

I received a couple of calls from this number earlier today, June 16th, 2016. The first call was odd, as there was complete silence on the other end. The second call had a rather poor connection, with lots of crackling sounds, but eventually, I could make out a woman's voice. She had a distinctive accent that seemed quite Indian, claiming to be from a fraud prevention team. I instantly decided to end the call.

I gave them a bell today, but they didn’t pick up.

I'd advise against engaging with this number - just another pesky nuisance call. Whatever you do, keep your personal information to yourself and don't divulge anything over the phone!

Just received another irritating call from some tech firm. Honestly, do they think we’re completely daft? They turn quite unpleasant when you mention you don’t own a computer. I really wish there was a way to block this number along with all the other bothersome calls I seem to get.

I received a call from a chap who sounded like he was from Africa, claiming to be with internet security. He insisted that there was an error message indicating a virus was attempting to infiltrate my computer. He warned it could be quite perilous if I switched my computer on, and he offered to guide me through the fix. However, I informed him that I already had antivirus protection in place. Nonetheless, he persisted in urging me to power up my device. I pointed out that he ought to resolve the issue from his side without requiring me to turn anything on. After a bit of back and forth, someone on their side eventually terminated the call when I continued to press him for more information.

Received a dodgy call regarding computer assistance, but it was really a credit card con!
