I've been getting calls nonstop from the same number. The initial call was on 9th November 2015, with someone saying they were with Microsoft and claimed someone was attempting to access my computer. They even asked me for my password, but luckily, I just ended the call straight away.

Some bloke called me, saying my PC was sending info to Microsoft and that he had to get access to sort it out. I tried asking him loads of questions, but he kept going on about how my computer was going to crash if he didn’t fix it pronto.

Got a call from someone claiming to be Microsoft, offering to fix my computer issues. I just told them no and quickly ended the call.

So this number says they're from Microsoft, saying they wanna fix some errors on my PC. It's the second time they've phoned me. I already told them last time to stop calling this line. When I said I was gonna report it to the authorities, he just cut the call right away.

My elderly parents get calls from this number at least twice every day. The callers pretend to be from Microsoft computer support. They've already conned them out of £400, which thankfully I managed to get back, but the calls won't stop. My dad is really unwell with a terminal condition, and my 80-year-old mum is the one caring for him at home. We've politely asked them over and over to leave them alone, but they just talk over us and ignore our requests. To help mum cope, I gave her a really loud whistle. Whenever that number shows up, she blows it as hard as she can. They still ring but hang up the moment she picks up. It’s helped her feel a bit more in control of these annoying calls. Just thought I’d share that as a little tip...

Someone rang me up claiming my computer was full of spyware and viruses, then passed me on to a so-called "technician" who said he'd fix the issues. I decided to play along to see what nonsense they wanted me to do. A man with a strong Indian accent told me to sit at my computer and follow his instructions to remove the supposed threats. I ended the call straight away. They actually rang me again! This time I asked why they were bothering me. The guy claimed my PC had problems. I told him I didn’t believe a word and that I’d report them, then hung up. Thankfully, they never tried calling back after that.

I got a call from someone claiming they had found serious malware on my computer through some local server info and said they needed to fix it for me. I kept asking who they actually worked for and why they even cared about my computer, and after a bit, he finally said it was a company called Global IT Services. The fee sounded a bit sketchy at first - he said £99.99, then mentioned it covered ten whole years. He claimed he had my computer’s serial number and used that to track me down. I asked him what kind of computer I had since apparently he had that serial number, but he dodged the question. He kept telling me he’d ring me back when I was sat in front of my PC so he could assist me directly. Said he wasn’t connected to Microsoft or my internet provider or anything like that, which didn’t make much sense. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Got a call early this morning, like 7:38am, some guy saying there’s a problem with my computer. He had a really strong Indian accent. Totally sounded like one of those dodgy scam calls. Who even rings that early anyway?

Got a call just before 7 in the morning, which already felt odd. The bloke spoke with a strong accent and said it was about my computer. I figured it was dodgy straight away, so I told him I wasn’t fooled. He got a bit awkward, chuckled nervously, and then just ended the call. No genuine firm would ring you up that early anyway.
