Honestly, I reckon the whole DNC (Do Not Call) list is just a government con. It clearly doesn’t do its job, since loads of folk on the list are still getting bombarded with calls. Sure, there’s some exceptions, like certain organisations being allowed to still ring you up. But still, it’s obvious there must be loopholes to get around it. You’d think with all the fancy tech the government has, they’d be able to actually make it work properly, right? But nah, they don’t. I bet they hire people just to pad employment stats, and meanwhile, they trick us into handing over our numbers. Now the government knows exactly which lines are active and can easily monitor them without having to track down numbers themselves. It’s like we handed over a ready-made list of valid phone lines for them to tap into. Is anyone else starting to suspect the same thing? Just something I’ve been thinking about...
