They insisted that I run several commands on my system to verify their claims. I had my doubts straight away about their authenticity, so I probed for further information. They provided my address and a name-both of which are readily available in directories. However, the name they mentioned isn’t registered under our computer or software licences, which only deepened my mistrust. It's concerning how easily others might fall for this ruse. After the call, I did a quick online search and uncovered that this is a recognised phone scam. I urge everyone to stay vigilant; do not click on any links they provide or share any personal or banking details with them.Microsoft12 yearsI received a call from this number, and the caller inquired about my husband, wanting to know if he was at home.
