The scammers deceive you into thinking that all you need to do to claim the money is fill out a simple demographic survey. However, this is just a ploy to trick you. In reality, they ask you to send a one-time fee of $250 through Western Union to supposedly set up your government identification. They claim that this fee will be refunded along with the grant money. However, there's a catch - multiple transactions are required because Western Union can only transfer $250 at a time. It's truly ludicrous and should not be taken seriously.
