You ought to ring up their helpline to request an unsubscription, and don't hesitate to mention a refund if you've incurred any charges. Additionally, it might be worth your while to contact your mobile provider to see if they can block those pesky premium services that have a knack for signing you up without your consent. Wishing you all the best with it!

This firm goes by the name Mobile Embrace as well, and they're situated at 100 William Street, East Sydney, postcode 2010. I’d suggest popping by for a visit if you're in the area!

What you’ve got here is a rather sneaky premium service that can quietly appear on your mobile bill, all it takes is a simple click on one of their ads. Services like NoLimitsGames, mHub, GamesHaus, HeroWorld, and FiiTR seem to be quite prevalent in this regard. However, it’s worth noting that Telstra and Optus have the ability to completely disable these premium services if you make the effort to request it. Just like how you can get a refund for a service you never signed up for, but only if you actually take the initiative to ask for it. So, what’s the deal with 8z Pty Ltd’s revenue? Well, it comes from those who inadvertently find themselves subscribed time and again, simply too preoccupied to pick up the phone and ring the 1300 number for a refund.

Caution regarding "Third Party Charges" on your Telstra statement! I recently downloaded a few so-called "free" games, but I was completely unaware that I had unknowingly agreed to a subscription. Out of the blue, I received this notification: "Hello Gamer, you’re now subscribed to NoLimitsGames! Access over 200 GAMES at http://c.nlgames.me/CT3vJ9 for just $6.95 each week on your upcoming bill. To unsubscribe, text STOP to 19772665. For inquiries, call 1300886534." The most frustrating part is that whenever I try to send "STOP" to 19772665, it never seems to work, making it nearly impossible to cancel without Telstra deactivating Premium text services altogether. Cheers, Daryl in Melbourne, Australia.

I recently encountered what seems to be a dubious number. I've been receiving unsolicited texts on my mobile, and it appears there’s some sort of mechanism at play that resulted in an unexpected subscription to a gaming service, which is now mysteriously charging my phone bill on a weekly basis. I reached out to Telstra regarding this issue, and they confirmed that it’s a known problem. They promptly cancelled the charges on my bill and directed me to call 1300886534. After they handled the cancellation of the so-called "subscription," a rather unsettling request followed. They insisted I email them my full name, address, and other personal details in order to send me a cheque. This situation resulted in giving them access to my phone number, name, address, and email, which is worrisome to say the least. If something feels off, it’s highly likely that it probably is!

I find it quite frustrating that I'm being billed monthly on my Optus account. I’m not currently signed up for any games or services that warrant these charges, and it's high time they sorted this out.

I've noticed a couple of charges of £6.95 on my bill dated 16th February - quite the surprise, as I’ve not signed up for any services that I’m aware of. I'm planning to ring up my service provider later today. It’s been more than a week since the last deduction, so I wouldn’t be at all shocked if there’s yet another one creeping in. The company in question is 8Z Pty Ltd, and I can’t shake the feeling they’re up to no good!

I experienced a similar issue myself. I'd recommend reaching out to your network provider-Optus sorted me out in a jiffy. They can cancel any unwanted services and can even adjust your credit limit to nil for these pesky charges, ensuring it doesn't happen in the future. I also had a chat with 8Z PTY LTD at 1300 886534 and insisted that they reverse the charges on my Optus invoice. They mentioned it would take approximately 21 business days for that to process.

This is a complete scam. I've noticed charges on my prepaid Telstra account for games that I've neither signed up for nor agreed to. I doubt Telstra will lift a finger since they’re the ones pocketing the cash. Who’s out there to support the consumers who are getting taken advantage of like this?

I've just spotted a message indicating that I'm being charged £6.95 a week for some two-number limit games on my Vodafone mobile. This notification popped up on my 4G device from Telstra around the 17th of December last year. When I spoke to a chap from Telstra, he mentioned that this fee isn't showing up on my Vodafone account. I tried checking my landline with Telstra, but it seems they could only verify details up until the 5th of December. Now, I'm in a bit of a bind, as I’ll have to wait until my next bill to figure out if those £6.95 charges originate from that. I’m just wondering if they have access to all my information, regardless? By the way, I’ve noticed a number, 19772665, and I'm not quite sure if it relates to my account. Cheers, Brian Williams.

I recently got a text alerting me that my mobile account has incurred a charge of £6.95 for a subscription I never signed up for. It's quite baffling, really! I'm at a bit of a loss as to how to put a stop to this. I tried ringing the number 1300886534, but it seems no one is picking up. Any advice on how to resolve this?

This month, I was hit with a charge of £60.69, which I initially believed to be a spam message. When I attempted to text STOP to the number listed, my efforts were futile. Only last night did I discover these strange charges on my bill for a service I’ve never heard of. So, I reached out to Optus today to lodge a complaint and seek a refund. However, they just redirected me to mHub, and the woman I spoke to offered a measly credit of £5.95. I was quite irate and voiced my concerns about it being a scam, but she ended the call abruptly. I’m absolutely fuming about these outrageous fees, and I refuse to pay them!

Ever since I signed up with Optus, I've been inundated with messages from this outfit called AppyClub. Just the other day, I received a text stating, “We couldn’t renew your AppyClub subscription due to insufficient credit. Please replenish your balance, and we’ll attempt the charge again in two days. Call us at 1300886534.” Then there was another one that read, “FreeMsg: Download games/apps now at http://ffun.mobi/tKUjop. Plus, you’ve entered a $10,000 giveaway! You’re subscribed to AppyClub at $10 a week and a $5 sign-up fee. For help, call 1300886534 or text STOP to 19776600.” I never signed up for any of this nonsense! I reckon it’s just advert spam, so I simply ignored it. Little did I know this number has already cost me over AUD 70 on my last bill! It appears as if I've accidentally dialled some premium line! It’s absolutely outrageous!

I got a text from that number but I just deleted it without even glancing at it. Then, out of the blue, I got charged $23 three times on my Telstra bill. What steps can we as a community take to put an end to these pesky scammers? I received a charge of £43.28 for a mobile number I never subscribed to-my phone's just used for calls and some internet browsing! I reckon this has to be a form of theft rather than any legitimate activity! The best suggestion I’ve received so far is to contact my provider and get this number blocked directly. I'm also planning to flood this company with complaints because something needs to be done! Who’s with me in taking action?!

I've recently discovered that ProSports has been quietly taking £5 from my account every week without my consent. At first, I assumed it was just my data usage or extra calling charges. But after some digging, it turns out these folks have been siphoning money from me without my knowledge. I reached out to them and expressed that I don't recall signing up for any sort of subscription; it might have been my son messing about on his mobile device. Just because he browsed their site doesn’t mean I’m signed up! They ought to implement a confirmation process, like requiring a phone number or credit card info, before doing this sort of thing. Their customer service has been utterly useless. I’ll definitely need to escalate the issue.
