I never actually got a phone call from this number, but I did get an email with a 'statement' attached. The file was password locked, and it asked me to enter the last six digits of my IC number to access it. It also said if there were any issues, I should ring 1300880900. Thing is, I don’t even have a CIMB account, and when I checked with CIMB staff, they told me this is definitely a scam number.

Got a call from "CIMB 1300880900" saying there was some RM3990 transaction that didn't go through in my account... or something like that. Thing is, I dont have an account with CIMB at all, so I just ended the call straight away.

Watch out, this number said it was calling from CIMB’s toll free line. CIMB should really do something about these fake toll free calls.

Got a call from this number today but didnt answer. Left a voicemail saying there was RM3990 deposited in my bank account and if I want to do something, press 1, if not, press 2 or something like that.

Today, I got a call from a number saying it was "CIMB 1300880900" telling me that a payment of RM3990 to my account didn’t go through. They said to press 1 for more info or something, but the thing is, I don’t even have a CIMB account at all. Quite confusing really.
