I received a rather peculiar email regarding an upcoming flight with Qantas. The message claimed: "We've reached out to you previously about some issues relating to the payment information associated with your reservation." They then asked me to ring 1 300 799 798. After giving Qantas Customer Support a bell, I was assured that my payment was completely fine. Clearly, this is nothing more than a scam!

I recently received an email that appeared to be from Qantas, mentioning some sort of payment issue regarding a ticket I purchased using my points. The number they provided for returning the call and making payment was 1300 799 798. Be cautious, as this seems to be a scam! I've already got my flight confirmation and reference number, and to top it off, my name was inaccurately listed, not matching what I had booked.

It’s Qantas, isn’t it? Just a day before my flight, I find an email in my spam folder. I did a quick search for the number, and lo and behold, it’s linked to Qantas. It’s definitely them. They botched up my reservation, which I had sorted out seven weeks prior, and only decided to inform me about it a mere 24 hours ahead of takeoff. Absolutely daft! After a lengthy 55-minute call, everything is sorted, but what a palaver! Their system went haywire, and sadly, the poor woman on the other end bore the brunt of my frustration when she revealed that I wasn’t duly booked. Utterly ridiculous! Just complete incompetence!
