I received a dodgy call from this number, claiming there’s been a serious issue with my Foxtel account. Sounds highly suspicious to me!

I got a text instructing me to give this number a ring, so I obliged. However, when I looked it up on this site, it flagged it as potentially risky. Curious, I hopped back into my account to double-check, and lo and behold, the number was indeed legitimate. That said, I don’t reckon there’s any pressing reason to pick up the phone. After all, if someone were to attempt accessing your Foxtel account, they wouldn’t be able to do much since you get a verification code via text. In the end, the number seems alright, but calling it doesn’t seem necessary at all.

I just got a rather dodgy text message saying, "A high-risk activity has been triggered on your broadband/phone account. Your code is 817027. Please keep this code confidential. If you didn’t set this up, call 1300797716." The caller ID was 369835. I haven't reached out to them, and I'm fairly convinced this is a scam.

I've been getting texts from this number claiming that there's a high-risk issue with my broadband or phone account. They sent a message saying that my code is 777310 and I've been advised not to share it. I certainly didn't ask for anything like this! The number they provided to call is 1300797716. Seems rather dodgy to me since I'm not having any issues with my broadband or anything else for that matter. I've decided to block the number after reading about others who've experienced similar situations. Cheers for sharing this info!
