Do yourself a favour and look up the number here and on other platforms; you'll find some folks claiming it's all above board while others assert the opposite. I tried ringing back - straight to another voicemail, which was requesting more of my personal information. I decided to hang up and reach out to CBA directly at 132221. I had to hold for a bit, but eventually spoke to someone who assured me it was indeed a scam and that CBA would never use an automated system to contact customers. If you’re ever uncertain, just grab your bank statement, find their official contact number, and give them a ring.
