Interestingly, at no point did she bother to identify herself or the company she was representing - she only offered her first name. It baffles me how any organisation would expect to get meaningful information from someone when their representatives, like the not-so-charming "Annette," display such poor communication skills and adopt a hostile demeanour right from the outset. The company in question is Nexxa.

I received a phone call today from someone who was after my son. When I asked who they were, they refused to tell me and insisted on getting his contact details. Seriously? Am I meant to just hand over personal info to complete strangers? I even probed further to see if they were debt collectors, but that didn’t go anywhere. Here’s a tip for any debt collectors out there: you really ought to introduce yourselves clearly from the get-go to avoid ruffling feathers and actually achieve what you’re after. Regardless, they didn’t manage to pry any information out of me, and I’ve since blocked their number.
