I've been getting a fair few calls with no caller ID and, quite annoyingly, no messages left behind. Today, I finally answered one of these mystery calls, and it turned out to be a woman named Rachell. She began asking me all sorts of questions, but I firmly declined to share any details-especially with someone I don’t know or trust. To be honest, I had no clue what the purpose of the call was, and without clarification, I felt it was sensible to keep my guard up. I made it clear to her that I suspected this to be a scam, and I won't hesitate to report it to the authorities should she dare to ring back.

Received a rather curious call that seemed reminiscent of other encounters I've had with various firms. The caller claimed it was regarding a business issue and provided me with a reference number, something along the lines of b4dT5573. There were three additional digits, but alas, I neglected to jot them down. I believe her name was something like Berrel? They mentioned their lines would be available until 7 in the evening. She had quite an accent, though I couldn’t quite pinpoint her origins.

I received a call from a withheld number purporting to be from an outfit named Probe. They were eager to discuss an "urgent business matter" concerning one of my family members. The catch? The individual they were after is located at a completely different address and has a separate phone number. I’m baffled as to how they stumbled across my business mobile number or made any connection at all. When I pressed them for information about this "urgent business matter", they deflected, citing "privacy concerns." Interestingly, they had no qualms about trying to obtain my relative's contact details. It all seemed rather suspicious to me and gave off serious scam vibes, especially since they disclosed no particulars at all.

I received a call that displayed as 'International call,' which I opted to let ring out until it went to voicemail. A woman with a non-specific accent left a message that began with something along the lines of "Aust Group, kindly ring 1300361763 and mention Reference No 4017272."

I've had my new mobile number for a mere fortnight, and remarkably, on the very day I switched, this number began bombarding me with calls each day without fail. The majority of the time, the callers are seeking someone I have no connection to, and I couldn't possibly tell you where they might be. Just recently, I received a voicemail urging me to return their call, providing a reference number, which I did attempt to do. However, they insisted that the reference number was incorrect! They pursued me with questions, but I adamantly refuse to divulge any details to strangers, especially given that they haven’t clarified the purpose of their calls. If they can't be straightforward, I see no reason to engage. I want this number to be blocked immediately! I even warned the caller that I'd be reporting them to the authorities if they persisted.

I feel compelled to voice my dissatisfaction regarding my initial interaction with Probe. The representative was rather insistent in probing for details about my income, and they didn’t seem to know when to ease off. It got to the point where I had to inquire about her salary just to shift the focus. Quite an uncomfortable experience, really.
