Somebody called me claiming I owed money to Vodafone, but I switched my provider from Vodafone to Optus last year because the scam calls were just nonstop. Before I cancelled, I checked everything thoroughly and there was no outstanding balance or anything due. A few months back, I even received a letter at my place threatening legal action if I didn’t pay. Now these lot keep calling me using different numbers. It’s really getting on my nerves. Total scam, I reckon!

Looks like one of those scam calls to me. They claimed I owed money to Vodafone and threatened to cut off my service if I didn’t give them my card info. I had a proper look on my Vodafone app and there’s nothing outstanding on my account. They’ve only sent me a few texts since March, no calls at all. I’m just going to ignore them completely.

Got a message from 'comcredit' too, saying "To stop any more collection steps, pay the debt using this link http://goo.gl/KSrhbt". Seems a bit dodgy to me.

SCAM ALERT!!!
Got a weird text from a number I didn’t recognise telling me to ring a certain phone number.
I checked up with the network provider and my account was definitely showing a credit balance. They said they had no clue about the message.
Avoid this sketchy stuff!

I got a message from someone saying they’re from "COMCREDIT" and they gave me an account number linked to my phone provider. They claimed I could get half off my bill if I paid ahead - like reducing it from £306.13 down to £153.06. They told me to ring a number and mention file 1464329, or just click on this link http://goo.gl/KSrhbT and put in my account number to grab the discount. Seemed a bit dodgy to me.
