Just like the guy mentioned from 8-10-2015, some bloke with an Indian accent called claiming to be from the Windows Tech Dept. When I told him he was talking rubbish, he hung up straight away lol. They’re trying to get control of your computer to steal all your private and bank details. Don’t get tricked by them!!

Got a couple of missed calls from this number recently. It’s odd coz I’d just come back from Texas where my brother lives, so I wasn’t sure if it was someone I met while there. I’ve noticed that if you pick up the phone and stay silent, they usually hang up, probably cos alot of these scam calls rely on voice activation. Its mad how so many come from STD numbers and yet they’re never properly tracked or blocked. If you do end up talking to one, maybe ask for the MD’s personal number and see if he’s had a crash, never claimed PPI, is hard of hearing, or just plain daft.

I’ve had a few missed calls from this number on my work phone, which I’m really not meant to use for calls, only emails and browsing. I’ve never shared that number with anyone at all. So there’s absolutely no way this is a genuine call - it’s just another one of those random spam calls, like every other missed call I get on that device!

Same here, got a call from this number on my phone. I usually don’t pick up calls from unknown numbers, especially ones from abroad. If it’s something urgent, they’d leave a voicemail and I’d ring back. Of course, no voicemail at all. So, straight to blocked!

I keep getting calls from these guys. My caller ID shows Novatel, but it’s not the real Novatel Wireless. It’s definitely a scam. I checked the Novatel Wireless site and they mention they know about this dodgy number ringing people up.

Got a voicemail from a lady with a British accent talking about mis sold PPI. They ring nearly every week since about late June, but this is the first time they left this number (shows up as from Texas, USA). Before, the calls just showed as unknown on my phone. I’m based in the UK and have never had any PPI at all.

I’ve got no clue who this number belongs to cause whenever I pick up, they just hang up on me. These calls are so annoying, I actually ditched my smartphone because some random caller managed to hack my phone and wipe everything. Ever since I switched to an old Nokia 3310, the calls have really slowed down - no more daily bother. Now, it’s mostly just calls about PPI.

Not sure why but the call showed up as Texas, USA, even tho I’m here in the UK. Got quite a few calls from this number but I always ignore them. I think it’s a good plan to save it as SCAM so I can spot it straight away if it rings again. I’ll probably name them SCAM 1, SCAM 2 and so on to keep track.

I've been receiving missed calls from the number 12102490540. According to another website, it's linked to Texas. Apparently, they’re involved in some PPI misselling claims. Quite frankly, I've never taken out PPI, nor have I ever been in an accident claiming for compensation. These persistent, bothersome callers are just wasting my time!
