Didn't pick up when that number rang me, but seriously, what the heck is that?

This number rang me earlier and it was one of those robocalls saying something like "Congrats! You’ve won a cruise holiday" or whatever. I’ve had calls like this before from different numbers that show the same kind of message on caller ID. As soon as I hear "Congrats!", I just put the phone down straight away.

I also got a ring and thought the number had a 289 area code, which I think is an overlay for the 905 region. Guess my phone's just a bit muddled up with that kind of thing (11+).

I also received a call, thought the number started with 289 which is just another code over 905, so I figured my phone might be acting a bit wonky (11+).

But if you take away the 11 and check the digits, it turns out to be an advert for a free holiday cruise.
