11 yearsAt first, the call was just dead air, then suddenly I got a bloke on the line speaking with a heavy African accent, couldn’t catch a single word he said. Took ages to realise they’re actually based somewhere in Africa! After a bit, he slowed his talking down a bit. Next thing he says I’ve applied for a loan - yeah right, I’m sitting here with three houses on the market and no loans whatsoever. Then he suddenly switches it up and claims he’s from some debt consolidation firm! Got fed up right then and just hung up. Definitely sounds like a scammer trying his luck. When my carer asked why he was sharing this info with him, since he was just helping me get to bed, the caller clearly didn’t know anything about data protection. He kept rambling about something to do with the ministry of justice, but after my carer kept pressing him, he snapped and told him to look it up on Google, then hung up.
