8 yearsI only realised something was up when I spotted a £25.055 fee on my BT statement for this number. How on earth did this number end up on my bill when I never dialled it and have no clue who they are?8 yearsI was charged £18.07 for an 8 minute call by 3 Mobile, a call I never actually made. When I called customer service, they offered to reduce it to £9, but I declined because I don't see why I should pay for something I never did. They said the number is linked to a scam and they don’t know who owns it. Yet, it seems like they plan to split that money with whoever owns the number. Surely, the cash ends up with that person or company, right? It would make more sense if they reported the account holder to the police instead of just accepting the cash. Phone companies should really be protecting us customers from these scams. They told me to wait 10 days while they look into it.
