8 yearsI stumbled upon a curious charge of £25.055 on my BT bill linked to this number, and it has left me baffled. How on earth can a number I’ve never even dialled appear on my statement? I have absolutely no clue who it belongs to!8 yearsI've just received a bizarre bill from 3 Mobile for £18.74, claiming I've made an 8-minute call that I absolutely did not make. When I spoke to their customer service, they suggested I should just pay a reduced amount of £9.00. I firmly told them no, as my point stands: if I didn’t place the call, why on earth should I foot the bill? They mentioned that it was a scam number, yet they have no clue who it belongs to. Oddly enough, they're planning to split the profit with the scammers! Surely, the funds must be linked to the original account holder; it would make more sense for them to report this individual or entity to the authorities instead of pocketing some of the money themselves. Honestly, it feels like it's the providers' responsibility to shield their customers from such fraud. Anyway, they've told me to hang tight for 10 days while they investigate the matter.3 Mobile8 yearsI’ve been charged £18.00 by 3 Mobile for a mere 8-minute call that I certainly didn’t make. It’s quite astonishing how these telecom companies seem to be in cahoots with fraudsters, isn’t it? It makes one wonder if there’s any way to hold these providers accountable in a court of law.3 Mobile10 yearsI’ve been hit with a £71 bill from BT for three calls made to 09838481148 on 13th May 2016, but I have no idea I even made those calls! Tried sorting it out but apparently, there’s nothing they can do about it!!!!!!BT11 yearsNoticed a charge for an adult chat line on my Sky bill with numbers beginning 0938. The call was made around noon when no-one was actually home. Tried getting a refund but no luck so far. Has anyone else had this issue? Bit fishy cause the same day we had Sky engineers fitting our TVs. Could they somehow access your phone line while working? Feels a bit off to me...SkySky TVSubmit Your Own Report (0983 848 1148)
