The caller claimed they were with the fraud squad and quickly started talking about consolidating debts I supposedly owed, but I don’t have any. They already had my name, but soon after I questioned them, they just cut off the call.

He claimed he had info from some enforcement office about missed payments and ccjs. I told him that in Northern Ireland we don’t have ccjs, only magistrates court records. He said he was a solicitor and I asked him his name and firm. Then he said I was misunderstanding and it was actually a promo call. I ended the call and firmly said don’t call me again.

Got a call from somewhere in Thailand and they were saying they needed to get into my computer. Definitely felt like a scam.
