A mate of mine received a rather dodgy message claiming to be from me, but I assure you, it wasn’t! It stated: "You have a voicemail awaiting you from Helen, call 09826523212 to listen, or opt-out [email protected] [###] 18+". Clearly, this is some sort of scam. I’m baffled as to how they’ve ended up with my phone number. Has anyone got any thoughts on this?

I've promptly flagged this issue with Action Fraud. Fortunately, after perusing the various comments left by others here, I've refrained from opening the email or dialling the number provided. My message urged me to ring someone named Jane regarding my "Vmail"—whatever that may entail!

I received a rather curious message saying to collect my voicemail from Sophie. It instructed me to either ring 09826523219 or drop an email to support@veb-zone[###] if I wished to unsubscribe from their marketing communications. I didn’t reach out via the phone or email since I noticed that quite a few others have received a similar notification. Quite odd, isn’t it?
