They rang up claiming they were from the telephone preference service tryin' to offer some kind of upgrade to my call blocking. Total scam, don't fall for it!

I got a call supposedly from BT telling me that since I've been a loyal customer, I qualify for huge savings on my bill. They asked me to verify my name and address, but it felt really suspicious. I didn't share any info and later rang BT myself to check. Turns out, they never made that call. Definitely a dodgy scam trying to steal personal info!
