Hey everyone. Appreciate all the advice about testplus.com and the refund process on their site. The problem is, whenever I try to get back onto their website, it just won’t load properly. I even phoned the customer service number someone shared here earlier this week. They took my info and promised to email me a refund confirmation, but I’ve heard zilch since then. Really annoying!

Had a look at my O2 bill from February and noticed it was way more than normal. Turns out I got charged £18.92 for three calls made on the 26th from this number. I noticed a premium number on my 02 statement and this "test keeper" person called saying they'd refund me. I rang my bank after and they reckoned it was probably a scam. They told me not to share any bank info with them. Seriously, be careful - who knows how they'll use your bank details if you do!

I only noticed this number because it showed up on my Vodaphone bill. Apparently, I called this number on the 24th of February for about 4 minutes, which cost me £20. I honestly don’t remember making that call at all. Feels like a total scam to me.

So I got a call saying it was Tesco telling me I won a phone cause of my points. Sounded good so I called them back but the line just kept going on hold then suddenly cut off. Now I’ve got my phone bill and they’ve charged me £40 for just 5 minutes! If this ain’t Tesco properly, they need to sort it out and refund me since someone’s scamming using their name. I got a call from this number claiming to be Tesco saying I’d won a mobile due to my points. They kept me on hold for ages and then just hung up. Now I’ve been hit with a £40 bill for just 5 minutes! The person who wrote below has no clue. This is a UK number, for sure, not from India. Looks like they don’t understand tech at all or maybe making stuff up because they rang this number and ended up with a charge, or maybe they’re just being daft. Just claim your money back by going to their website and putting in a complaint. It’s really not that hard... honestly, people need to stop being so clueless.

What a load of rubbish, these people are total scammers! I never called them on purpose. Next thing I know, my Virgin Media bill shoots up by £22.88 just for two calls. Apparently, the calls came from a number that’s traced back to India. Complete nonsense!

Honestly, anyone moaning about not getting a refund or losing money here sounds either clueless or just making it up. The charges are clearly shown before you call, so no excuses. Instead of whining, just visit their website or ring their support line: tel:+448081697353. You can also check https://testpluskeep.com/help and sort a refund straight away. My kid gave them a ring and then I called myself - we got a full £20 back no problem. There's no need to bother Ofcom or anyone else, just deal directly with the company. This stuff's properly regulated in the UK, and they’re pretty quick to sort things out if you’re not happy.

About a fortnight ago I replied to an advert I heard on Pandora radio. I was aware the call wasn’t free, but didn’t expect it to cost me £15. Looking back, I should’ve checked the details on the website because apparently the call lasts about 5 minutes. Anyways, I’m short on cash until payday and really needed my credits back. They actually refunded the full amount through Paypal without me giving much detail. I’m a bit confused about this Tesco stuff people keep mentioning, I never got a call from them nor saw anything about Tesco on their site. From what I understand these companies are regulated here in the UK and have to honour refunds. Not sure if it’s a scam or not, but since they returned my money, I’m quite pleased in the end.

My daughter, who’s 14, rang this number after her mate at school mentioned it, saying she saw it on her mum’s Facebook page. Later, I noticed a £14 charge on my March bill from TalkTalk. I got in touch with their support through the website, and they got back to me in about an hour asking for my phone number. They ended up refunding £15, saying it was to cover the phone company’s access fees or something like that. At least they replied and gave me my money back, so I’m fairly sure it’s not a scam. I’m a student from Poland studying here in the UK. I heard this ad on Spotify on my phone and decided to call the number to do a survey just before New Year, like in 2019. Around three weeks later, they rang me asking for my address. I gave it to them but made it clear they shouldn’t share my info, and they assured me it was fine. My girlfriend called me stupid for doing it! Then, about a week later, Amazon informed me that an iPhone XR had been delivered to me. I had to sign a contract online through Docusign, including giving details about my phone and myself. I have to send all this info back after a month, but the phone is mine. Honestly, I’m thinking I’ll probably sell it and get a Samsung since I prefer those. Feels like the whole thing wasn’t legit. It surprised me someone mentioned Tesco here - this ain't Tesco, mate; you get your eggs there, not iPhones lol.

I totally get why some people might not realise these calls come with a fee or might not check first, but actually it’s pretty straightforward to get your money back. These companies are under UK regulations, so if you ring them up on 0808 169 7353 and ask for a refund, they’re obliged to sort it out. I’ve done this myself for my sister after she voted for a contestant on Britains Got Talent and ended up being charged about £5. Just make a complaint, it’s worth a try!
