This is a premium rate line. The caller was adamant that I needed to reach out to this number due to some supposed insecure debts. I made it clear that I only have a solitary loan. I nearly got sucked into this scam out of sheer panic. It’s worth noting that Citizens Advice would never provide a contact number like that.

My mum got a call from a mobile number 07749330889 saying someone had applied for a £1000 loan in my name but it got declined because of some debt. They told her if it wasn’t me, she had to ring back on 09131240321 with a reference number to cancel it. When I tried to get more details from the caller, they refused to give anything and pressured her, saying we only had 30 minutes to call or else the application would go through. She was really worried and nearly phoned them, but I was there for the second call and stopped her from doing it.

It’s not a scam, they were actually really helpful. Managed to get a £2000 loan sorted in just three days. Proper useful service if you ask me.

It's pretty clear that those last few good reviews are just the scammers trying to make themselves look legit. Their English is awful, like they barely know the language! Stay well clear of these con artists, they'll rob you blind for sure.

This bloke called asking about any loans or credit cards I had. When I asked where they got my info since I don’t owe anything, he said it was from the government credit office. I told him to take my info off their list, and he gave me a number to ring. I could tell it was a premium line straight away. Then I asked if he was really from the government, why was he ringing me from a mobile? I said I’d report him and he just hung up.

Honestly, who’d fall for this nonsense written by someone probably sitting in a cramped little hut in Chennai? Gotta give him credit though, he’s clearly practising his English - even if it’s just so he can trick us better. Got a phone call a moment ago saying there’s a £500 loan being processed in my name. I told them that’s not right, and the bloke on the phone told me to call the number he gave me to chat with his line manager and stop the loan or it’d affect my credit score. He said he was from some Credit Investigation Department or something.

Received a call from this number earlier on. The chap on the line, who identified himself as Luke, had a rather dodgy accent and claimed he was calling with some sort of update from a credit reference agency. I was baffled and told him I had no clue what he was going on about. He then had the cheek to call me stupid before abruptly ending the call. Whatever you do, steer clear of this number!

Some bloke called up saying I owed cash, when I told him I didn’t, he suddenly wanted to offer me a loan - obviously fishing for my bank info. Best thing? Don’t even pick up or if you do, just tell them to jog on and then block the number. Complete con artists.
