I just wanted to share my experience with Blue Letter. It's quite straightforward - if you pen a letter to them, they’ll reimburse you for the call charges! I’m in the process of doing that right now, actually. 😊 To get your refund, you'll need to include a copy of your phone bill. It should clearly display your phone number, or if you prefer, your name and address to confirm you're the account holder. Also, it must show the calls made to their service (note that they use numbers that begin with 09), along with the total cost incurred. Since different networks have varying charges, they want to ensure you don't end up losing out because of inflated fees from your provider. Once you've got everything sorted, just send your bill over to Blue Letter Limited, Unit 13, Glossop Brook Business Park, Surrey Street, Glossop, Derbyshire SK13 7AJ. Quite simple, really!

My son received a message touting a loan approval, which seemed rather odd since he's only 19 and this was his first foray into borrowing. He dialled the number listed on our home phone, but after just one brief call, we were hit with a bill of £43.20 and there was no actual conversation! I doubt BT will step in, as they might argue it’s not their responsibility. I’d really like to uncover the identity of this shady company. STAY AWAY FROM THEM AT ALL COSTS!

I’ve just taken a look at my latest BT statement and, blimey, they’ve charged me £43.20 for a single call! Apparently, my son got a text message that he thought was a loan approval, and he used my phone to ring that number. This charge is simply outrageous! I’m not holding my breath that BT will resolve this anytime soon, so if anyone could shed light on the company behind this dodgy number, I’d really appreciate it. Cheers… A Very Annoyed Mum
