Its a scam, ive even seen it on the news. Megapromo is dodgy. They ask u to check ur balance after they message u, but its a trick to steal from u, not just waiting for a reply. Best thing is dont reply at all, just block the number straight away.

Total scam message, only a proper mug would fall for that. I ended up using that police site to report it. Big thanks to whoever shared the info. Wasn't sure at first but the website lets you enter both the phone number and all the scam details plus the link. This is a really sneaky scam that's clearly working well. There’s a post from 3rd October that explains everything. You can find the official police site by searching ‘action fraud’ on Google, then click the ‘police.uk’ link, hit the ‘reporting’ button/icon, and scroll down past the scam emails section to begin your report. No sign-up needed. It’s had over 11,000 views now. These crooks must be making loads from this. Please do your part and report any scam calls or messages you get. Honestly, it’s the only way to put a stop to these cheats.

Going through the comments here it’s clear this number is linked to a common scam. Loads of people seem to have the same experience but I saw a comment from way back on 27 August that explains pretty well what to do if you get a call from this premium rate number. If all the 9,000 folks who saw that message had bothered reporting it to the police, maybe this number would've been tracked down by now. We really need to take responsibility and report every single one of these dodgy calls.

I received a message from the number 07383945969 saying: "Call 09095569785 to get your voicemail from Elaine or email help@lgstconsult[###] to stop marketing messages." It seemed dodgy to me at first. After looking it up, I found plenty of other people had flagged it as suspicious too.

I received a message from this number claiming I had a voicemail waiting for me and urging me to return the call. Be warned, everyone, this is a con! The number is a premium rate one, which means if you dial it back, you'll end up with a hefty bill! Stay safe and don’t fall for it!

Got a text from +44 7383 945948, said it was from Kerry about a voicemail. The message wanted me to ring 09095569789 or send an email to help@lgstconsult[###] to stop marketing calls. It warns me about a £6 charge plus standard network fees. Definitely looks like a scam to me.

Got a message saying I had a voicemail from someone called Kerry, with a link to listen but it’d cost me £6 plus usual charges. The text included an email for "lgstconsult" which I’ve never come across before. When I looked it up, this site popped up in the search. I’m also putting in a report about the number that sent me the text. Definitely smells like one of those voicemail scams.
