I reached out to my mobile provider, but it seems they can only block the number, yet they’re utterly helpless when it comes to preventing those pesky charges. I've ended up shelling out as much as £80 in penalties! Is there anyone out there who can offer some assistance?

I just got a call from this number, and it turns out to be a scam. To make matters worse, it's been logged as an outgoing call, which has racked up charges of over £50! It’s baffling because I haven't dialled a soul! What a right mess!
