I was trying to sort out a loan but ended up with a £100 phone bill instead. I’m already a couple of months behind on rent, bills, and other loans, so this just pushed me over the edge. On top of that, I ended up smashing my phone out of frustration. Honestly, if I take my own life soon, this is what really broke me.

Hi there! So today around midday, I got a ring from 020 3830 8663 which claimed to be from a loan company. They were quoting me some loan amounts that honestly caught me off guard, looked quite attractive too. After explaining how much each monthly payment would be, they told me to call another number, 0907 114 9104, saying it was for identity verification. When I dialled that number, it was completely different from the original one, so I asked where that number came from. They said it could be any typical prefix like 020, 030, 080, etc., but this one was special because it was for their ID system. Curious, I googled that number and stumbled upon your website. Looks like it’s some kind of scam, so cheers for the heads up!
