My latest phone bill has really taken me by surprise - it's rather steep! I rang the customer service to find out what was going on, and they told me that someone had used our number to make 14 brief calls lasting a mere eleven seconds on the 22nd and 23rd of June back in '09. Can you believe it? They’ve slapped a hefty charge of £66.72 on our account for this nonsense! No one in our household has the foggiest idea about this number. Is anyone actually addressing this kind of scam, or is there a chance someone could share a number so we could just print our own money instead?

I recently received a rather shocking phone bill that seemed inflated, so I decided to give them a ring to sort it out. To my surprise, I was told that someone had made 14 calls on our line, amounting to just eleven seconds of total conversation time on the 22nd and 23rd of June in '09 - and we've been slapped with a charge of £66.72 for that! None of us in the house have dialled that number at all. It's absolutely baffling! Is there any action being taken against this apparent scam? Or can someone please share a number so we can create our own money?
