Just a quick note - from my experience on this site, I reckon this number might be tied to some dodgy characters. It’d be wise to alert the local authorities about it. This particular number appears on our phone statement, and we’ve been charged an astounding £5.50 for just ten seconds of conversation! I decided to ring them up to uncover the identity of these folks, yet all they offer is a vague response. When I pressed them, they simply said calls to this number incur a fee of 60p per minute-typical! I clarified that I was trying to ascertain who they are, and the chap on the other end just said he works for a directory enquiry service. I can’t help but think, for a ten-minute chat? Highly dubious, if you ask me!

Has anyone managed to uncover the reasons behind this scam? Have you reached out to your service providers? We can't allow these crooks to escape without consequences; this situation must be dealt with promptly. This is a grave matter, and we’ll take the necessary steps if required. These individuals must be held accountable-just how many millions are they swindling from unsuspecting victims?

Our rings were exactly the same and have already set us back around £20. This company is definitely on the radar for an investigation by the ombudsman and the fraud squad. They’re clearly con artists, and there's no way they’ll escape justice as long as we’ve got any sense left. Believe us, this needs to be flagged up to ofcom.org as well. Cheers, Kevin.

I spotted a peculiar charge on my statement for a brief 12-second call that set me back a whopping £7.67!
