I just received a call this afternoon offering me a credit card with a £2000 limit, which is a bit peculiar, considering I recently applied online and was turned down. They asked me to call 09064001838 and provide a reference number, but honestly, it all feels incredibly fishy. It's hard to believe it's legit!

Earlier today, we received a call from a withheld number, and the individuals on the line claimed that several companies were ready to offer us a credit card with a limit of up to £2000. They gave us the number mentioned above and insisted we should call back using a contract mobile or a landline, assuring us we would receive a full refund for the call. Seems like a right scam to us!

I received a call while at work informing me that we’ve been approved for a credit card. They asked me to ring 09064001838, which we later found out was a premium rate number. They wanted me to call from a landline and provide a reference number to verify our details, promising that we would be reimbursed for the call. It all felt rather suspect, so I decided against returning the call. That number 01252555075 has tried to reach out a few times on my mobile, but I've chosen to ignore it. I'm relieved I didn’t make that call, as it’s clear now that it's all a scam.

My partner recently reached out for some text-based advice regarding a loan and it turns out he's been cut loose. He called the number provided and ended up being billed £20.00! What a complete swindle this is!

I had a call regarding a loan for £500, and they asked me to get back to them with my details. They didn't provide the number on the caller ID, but I did receive it verbally during the conversation.

I reckon this pertains to Horizon Finance concerning the address for reimbursements. It's listed as the Customer Services Division, and it’s a freepost address: HORIZON. There’s a chance it could be a subsidiary company, though.

Received a call from 01612460200 and the caller claimed we had been approved for a loan, advising us to ring back to verify our details so that the funds could be transferred into our bank account. The chap on the other end seemed quite sincere, yet I found it puzzling that when we dialled 01612460200, there was no one to speak with-just a monotone recording. It struck me as rather odd, and to top it off, they mentioned a fee of £1.50 per minute for the privilege of waiting on the line. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

My partner received a message informing him that his loan application had been approved. When he called the number, they charged him £20! This is utterly fraudulent.

It's rather puzzling, isn't it? Given that the company seems to be genuine, one would expect that when we dial the number 0906 4001838, there would at least be a response. Instead, all we encounter is complete silence on the line. It raises quite a few eyebrow-raising questions about the reliability of this so-called legitimate business. Surely, if they are above board, there should be some way to get through?

Earlier today, we discovered that a sum had been kept back, and these individuals claimed that numerous companies are prepared to refund our credit card up to the tune of twenty pounds. They provided us with a number to ring, whether it be a mobile contract or a landline, assuring us that a complete reimbursement awaited us. However, it has all the hallmarks of a scam, if you ask me.

Your phone is currently set up with a premium rate call block. This restriction is automatically applied when your line is installed. If you'd like to lift this restriction, simply contact your phone provider (like BT or TalkTalk) whenever you're ready. It’s a precautionary measure designed to prevent under-18s from accidentally calling these numbers without parental consent.

I recently received a phone call after applying for credit online, which I was initially turned down for. To my surprise, this afternoon I got a call saying I’d been approved for a credit card with a limit of £20. They asked me to ring 09064001838 and provide a reference number. It all feels a bit iffy - can’t shake the sense that something's not right here!
