I received a call from this person, but they didn’t utter a single word.

I’ve just had a call from these characters, and I can tell you, it was a total scam - steer clear of them! We recently submitted an application for a credit card, and they didn’t even acknowledge the company we went with. The entire underwriting experience was absurdly quick, taking no more than three minutes, followed by a lengthy load of nonsense from the salesperson. In the end, they gave us a number for premium rates and a reference, but you can bet we won’t be making that call!

We subsequently called back using our landline and discovered that the call rate was an astonishing £1.50 per minute, and it was apparently linked to a financial company. We hung up straight away, not keen on incurring further costs. Does anyone have any advice on how we might reclaim our money?
