This number keeps ringing us, apparently linked to a loan company, but we're struggling to catch their name! It sounds a bit like C F E or something similar, but honestly, it’s almost impossible to decipher!

Could you kindly give us a bell on our mobile at 07532495941 regarding our appeal number 002344569858? This pertains to a loan. Thank you!

We fell prey to this company, C.F.D. They assured us that we were approved for the loan we had applied for. We found ourselves on the phone for over twenty minutes at a rate of £1.50 a minute! They then instructed us to send a copy of our bill to them, promising that we’d receive the funds in return, which of course, never materialised. Don’t be taken in by this firm, as we foolishly were.

Has anyone else observed that those folks involved with CFDs seem to be using an identical message across all their various 0906 numbers? This site has been an absolute blessing, and I truly hope it raises awareness about these unscrupulous individuals. They take advantage of those in dire situations. I firmly stand by the notion that karma has a way of catching up with people. One can only hope that these con artists meet a fitting end.

Hey Leah, rest assured, this will be resolved! There’s just a minor delay with the holiday season and all that. If you run into any issues, don’t hesitate to call customer support at 0800 195 1980.

I’ve just realised this was a premium rate number! It seems these folk are profiting from you returning their calls. A 0906 number typically costs around 50 pence per minute or thereabouts. Make sure to flag this to Ofcom, it’s important!

We are employed by a particular brokerage, and the sole reason for a decline would typically stem from something noted on your credit report that you didn't disclose in your application. If you’re after a loan and have a solid credit history, why not approach your bank right from the outset? Moreover, if someone rings you up asking for your banking details and you willingly handed that over, whose responsibility is that, really?

It's truly a massive scam, isn't it? Quite disappointing, to say the least. 😟

I recently received a call from a company called best4loans.com. They took all my personal information and assured me that I had been approved for a loan of £1,000. However, they said I needed to pay £44 as an administration fee first. Foolishly, in my desperation for cash, I went ahead and paid it. Now, instead of gaining £1,000, I’ve lost £44 and feel completely embarrassed by the whole ordeal. If you’re ever asked to pay any sort of fee upfront, don't do it! It's a complete scam!

I had a rather unsavoury experience with Cash Finance Direct, who claimed they could assist me with a loan. However, it quickly became apparent that what they actually are is a bunch of brokers. All they did was take my details and pass them on to yet more brokers, who offered the same service. It's nothing short of a scam! They charge a whopping £1.50 a minute, and after about 15 minutes of conversation-regardless of whether they’ve managed to gather all your information-they abruptly hang up, promising to ring back within 24 hours, but they never do. I urge everyone to steer clear of this company; they’re simply out to swindle you for your hard-earned cash!

I received a call from a company named best4loans.com. They reassured me that my details were all in order and that I’d been approved for the loan amount I sought. To finalise everything, they asked for a £44 administration fee. In my desperation for some financial relief, I went ahead and paid it, regrettably without much thought. It turns out, I’ve been duped, and instead of gaining £1,000, I’m now £44 poorer and feeling rather foolish. Please heed this warning: if anyone asks for an upfront fee, steer clear! It’s undoubtedly a scam!

We received a rather dubious call from someone claiming to be from CFD, informing us that we were approved for a loan. This caller then directed us to ring a local premium rate number, 09064001882, to finalise our application. To add to the oddity, she mentioned we would receive a refund on our mobile bill. Alarm bells started ringing in our heads, so we promptly hung up and opted not to return the call. Quite the sketchy situation, if you ask me!

We’ve gone ahead and settled our admin fees for best4loans, which amounted to £49.99. However, we haven't come to an agreement regarding the terms and conditions as of yet. Is it possible for us to retrieve that amount?

The phone rang recently with a call from urgentloans, providing us with a premium number for C. F. D. Thankfully, we were savvy enough this time to look them up online, as they sounded very convincing and we could have easily been taken for a ride once more. Massive thanks to this site for helping us avoid another potential scam!

We've received calls from two numbers, 09064001864 and 09064001800. We're opting not to return the calls since the caller began to ramble on about a loan, which raised our suspicions. Upon realising right after the first ring that it was likely a scam, particularly as we were in the midst of applying for a credit card, we felt uneasy. All we want now is a refund. As a result, we'll be reaching out to the Customer Services team via Freepost at Horizon.
