I always thought that most Middle Eastern governments were kinda broken and always takin’ money off their own people, even tho they got all that oil. But now I’m realised that messed up systems can be anywhere, even here in Britain! After a bit of back and forth, EE mentioned it was a call to HMRC and, as a goodwill gesture, they've agreed to refund me half of the charge. My brother dialled 090 64 20500, which is supposedly DPD Ireland, the delivery service, but no one picked up.
