Got a call from this number and ended up with a £4.07 charge I wasn’t expecting. I never make calls to unknown numbers but still got stung. Thankfully, my provider sorted a refund for me, but I’ll definitely think twice before answering or calling any strange numbers going forward. Stay alert, everyone!

But would you believe it, my phone bill had a £3.46 charge anyway! It's daft, they ought to only charge from when the message starts, not the instant you pick up.

I always thought that most Middle Eastern governments were kinda broken and always takin’ money off their own people, even tho they got all that oil. But now I’m realised that messed up systems can be anywhere, even here in Britain! From now on, I won’t be comparing the UK to Middle Eastern countries cos honestly, it’s not much different when you experience it yourself! Cheers HMRC or whoever you lot are! After some back and forth, EE decided to give me half the money back as a goodwill offer. We did ring HMRC but not using a mobile, so I’m still confused how this charge came about.

My brother dialled 090 64 20500, which is supposedly DPD Ireland, the delivery service, but no one picked up.
