They called me at 8:15 on a Sunday morning, first as an 0800 number then I saw a 0902 one on my phone log. I picked up and a woman said something about my 'bitcoin enquiry'. This number called me first thing this morning. I didn't pick up cause I kinda guessed what it might be about. Planning to report it to Action Fraud and I'll also drop an email to my local MP like suggested. Makes sense really. We can't just sit back and hope someone else sorts it. If everyone who gets these calls had a go, maybe something would change. Not totally sure if mixing in the MP with all that's going on is worth it, but I'll give it a shot just to see. It'd be mad if everyone actually did that!

Got a call this morning from this number but the first number shown on my phone was 08002610110, then as soon as I picked up it switched to a 0902 number. A British voice said “Thank you for calling. This call will cost you.” I hung up straight away. Watch out for these numbers, they’re getting clever by beginning with 0800 which could seem like an NHS line, then swapping to a pricey 0902 number.

A robotic lady voice said “please hold, you’re next in line,” then just after that “sorry, you are not - ” before it suddenly ended. Got a call from an unknown number and it was awful. I started with more than £10 on my phone, but after a call that lasted only a few seconds, my provider texted to say I had no credit left. A woman’s voice said “please don’t hang up, this call is important, you’re next in line,” then the line beeped and she admitted I wasn’t even close to the front of the queue. They charge £6 right away as soon as you pick up the call, plus your network adds £3.60 for each call. So, you’re looking at nearly £10 just for not even speaking. Best to ignore and just block the number.
