Hello everyone! It’s been just over a year for us now, and we've come across this number in our BT account that’s racked up charges amounting to hundreds of pounds at 20 pence per call. Whenever we reach out to BT about it, the responses are always along the lines of "there's nothing we can do" which is endlessly frustrating. We’re now considering cancelling our phone line entirely which seems like a drastic step. Has anyone else had a similar experience or found a way to reclaim these funds? Any insights would be greatly appreciated. Cheers!

I've received a bill from the post office marked with customer number W36 899 231, covering the period from 9th June to 8th September 2009. The charge totals £91.65, and it appears I've been charged for several calls to the premium rate number 090176 75091 - each call a precise 23 seconds long and happening around the same time every morning, either at 4:00 or 5:00 am. This seems utterly ridiculous, and I would appreciate guidance on how to put an end to this outrageous situation. Regards, Jon Browne. Flat 2, Two Hermits Croft, St Leonards Street, Edinburgh, EH8 9RF.

I'm simply inquiring about my latest phone bill since my previous statement seemed rather inflated! I've noticed numerous premium-rate numbers popping up, all seemingly identical and only connected for a mere twenty seconds at a time! This has been an ongoing issue for some time now. I've followed your advice and navigated through the options. I’ll hold off until Friday to investigate it further; my current bill already lists a couple of days with five charges logged. Cheers for the pointer, 'Jade'!

Hello Jade, Just a quick message about those pesky Premium Rate Amstrad calls. I made my way into the settings on Tuesday, and I’ve just had a look this evening. Glad to report that there are absolutely NO PREMIUM RATE calls showing up! Your advice was spot on and has helped us save a small fortune. This situation has been dragging on for quite a while now! Really appreciate your assistance once again!

I've received a staggering 40 calls from this number lately, and I've found myself being billed for it from the 14th of March right through to the 9th of May, without fail. Yet, strangely enough, no one seems to be on the other end of the line when I answer.

Greetings! I've been receiving the same number every single day for the past week. We followed Jade's recommendations, and I sincerely hope they prove effective. It's just frustrating to spend extra cash without cause. Fingers crossed that this turns things around! Thank you.

We've noticed that this number keeps showing up on our phone bill, and I can assure you, we've never dialled it! It's racked up a whopping £61 in charges. We’ve got an Amstrad phone and email setup, but for some strange reason, it keeps making calls to this number all on its own. We've eventually decided to swap out our phone, as the Amstrad was given to us by someone. It’s all rather baffling!

Anyone have the phone details for Amstrad? The fees they're charging are rather steep, to say the least. If you tally them up, it's clear someone’s raking in quite the profits. Surely, there's a way to tackle this issue without resorting to flinging the phone out the window!

I've recently stumbled upon this so-called "service" fee on my bill, and I can assure you that I’ve never used your email services. Hence, I've taken steps to block any chargeable calls linked to my number to find out when the phone goes dead! Honestly, Sir Alan Sugar, it’s all rather avaricious on your part (we pay for the advertisement to refresh your display!), instead of opting for a reasonable price for what ends up being a woefully outdated LED screen. You’re dismissed!

I’ve just stumbled upon this bewildering "service" fee on my invoice, and to be honest, I’ve never once utilised their email offerings. Consequently, we’ve put a halt to any premium rate calls on our phone line, eagerly anticipating when this outdated contraption will finally give up the ghost! Sir Alan Sugar, your avarice is astounding (we're already footing the bill for those advert updates on your screens!), and it’s quite scandalous that you haven't made it clear this charge exists for having this antiquated piece of technology. As far as I’m concerned, you’re done for!

Greetings everyone! We've just received our BT statement and noticed this number has been appearing for a few months now. Out of curiosity, we decided to do a bit of digging and stumbled upon your insightful comments. This has ended up costing us a pretty penny, but here's hoping for a significantly smaller bill come next month! We've decided to unplug our landline for the time being since it's primarily been collecting dust. Many thanks for sharing your experiences; they've been truly beneficial!

Greetings! I've been receiving calls from the same number every day for the past week. We've sought guidance from Jade and certainly hope it proves useful. It's rather frustrating to spend extra cash without any justification, so if this does pan out, I’ll be truly grateful. Cheers!

Hi everyone! I've just received a rather hefty phone bill, so I decided to investigate and discovered that we've received 34 calls to this number. It seems to be messing around with our Amstrad telephone. If you press the setup button on the keypad and navigate to option four in the menu, you'll find the email settings. I noticed that the email collection was set to automatic. Changing it to manual should stop your phone from dialing that number. Hope this tip is useful to you! 😊

I'm reaching out to get some clarity on my latest phone bill, as the previous one was rather steep! I've noticed numerous calls to premium rate numbers, all ringing in for just about 20 seconds each time, and I've been hit with charges for this, which has been ongoing for a fair bit now. I've followed your instructions to explore the settings and will hold off until Friday to reassess. My current statement already indicates that there have been five charges in just a couple of days. Cheers for the advice, Jade!
