I just noticed an extra £6 charge from TalkTalk on my bill, but when I called them, they couldn’t explain who it was for. We never dialled that number, so it’s a bit confusing. They said it was for some kind of service call, reference 29 or something.

Hands off this number claiming to be Ikea. It just keeps you waiting on the line forever, acting all official but it’s a total scam. Don’t get tricked!

On the 17th of September, I got billed £6.45 from a number listed as UK Service Numbers. The call only lasted about 20 seconds. When I looked at my phone bill, it says something like ‘Area Service Charge 65: Time 15.30.41’ - not really sure what that means or who it is. Does anyone know if Sky would refund something like this? It seems odd to be charged that much for such a short call.

Don't call this number, it's a total con. It pretends to be MyHermes support but all they want is to scam money out of you. Best to stay well clear of it.

Apparently this number is listed as MyHermes customer service somewhere online, but it’s definitely not legit. When I called, it wasn’t MyHermes at all and they ended up charging me £6! I’d say steer clear, it’s a total rip-off.

i picked up and the person just ended the call right away - definitely avoid returning their calls! looks like a premium number trying to rip you off

Seems like a dodgy call, got charged £6.10 for just 11 seconds. No idea who in the house actually rang though. Definitely feels like a scam to me.
