Apparently, Virgin Media states that I dialled the number 09015452944 and have been hit with a charge of £9.49 this month, along with another fee of £8.46 back in May. The truth is, I’ve never made any call to this number and have been unable to trace its owner. I’m not one for answering calls from unknown numbers, particularly ones like this, yet it seems there’s some sort of scam at play that’s profiting off me. Although Virgin has issued a refund, they maintain that I initiated the call when that's simply not the case!
