4 yearsI attempted to get in touch with Waitrose via the number 03301222559. Initially, I believed I had reached their customer service team, but now I’m not so sure. After a brief conversation, the line disconnected, and moments later, I got a text claiming to be from Waitrose, advising me to call an 0800 number for future inquiries. To my dismay, when I examined my phone bill, I spotted a hefty £6.86 charge for a number I never even dialled: 09015452875. This coincided precisely with my call time, and I also saw a £2.50 fee for the text sent from 60109. After contacting my mobile provider, they informed me that there was nothing they could do about it. I decided to text 'STOP' to 60109 to prevent any further messages. When I reached out to Waitrose, they denied any connection to these numbers.
