My daughter got three very brief scam calls that somehow ended up charging her £21.56. When I contacted Virgin Media, they were reluctant to admit she wasn’t the one who made the calls and insisted she’d have to cover the cost. It’s pretty frustrating dealing with their call centre based in India because things often get lost in translation. After pushing quite a bit, they said they’d reduce the next bill by £10, but that still means we're stuck paying £11.56 for calls we didn’t place. So honestly, if you see this number pop up, just don’t pick up - it’s definitely a scam.
