Got a call from "My Concierge - Call Back Service" for British Gas. They said they can save me the hassle of waiting on hold by having their team queue up on my behalf. They want £6 for the call, plus whatever my phone provider charges, and then there's a £1.50 fee for an info text. Looks like Miscono SL runs this service. They gave a contact number: 03330309016, and an email for customer support too. Just thought I'd share in case anyone else gets the same ring.
