Was having a look at an old phone bill and spotted this number pop up. After a couple of minutes googling, I found out it’s one of those directory services, kinda like 118 118, where they provide a phone number and can link you through. It belongs to Three mobile, and apparently no charges apply for incoming calls. Seems like you rang it, same as my missus did!

The firm is called Then Telecoms LTD - they’re known for pulling scams by pretending their expensive landlines are the proper customer service numbers for real businesses. They operate right out of central London, and a bloke named Kelvin Travis Rolf is running the show. What a dodgy outfit.

If money’s been taken, you’ll probably need to file it as a crime; if not, mark it as a phishing case. Whatever you do, don’t ring the number back!
