DPD Absolutely a scam! They rang me, and when I tried to return the call, I was hit with a £5.54 fee! What a joke!

I've experienced precisely the same thing! 😱

I recently found myself in a bit of a muddle after discovering a charge of £5.46 on my O2 bill for a call to 09011190008, which I certainly did not make. When I reached out to O2’s customer service, they claimed I must have accidentally dialled it for a mere 11 seconds. I was absolutely fuming! They informed me that it was a premium service number and there was nothing further they could do. It feels like a right con! O2 should have robust security measures in place to prevent this sort of thing. I only learned that I’d supposedly called a 09... number after the charge appeared, so the idea that I would even dial it in the first place is beyond me. If I find myself in this situation again, I won’t hesitate to explore other mobile providers.

My wife was hit with a £6.65 fee from DPD for just two telephone calls, each lasting under half a minute. She absolutely swears she didn’t make those calls. Quite suspicious, if you ask me!

It's actually British Gas, not DPD!

Was hit with a bill of £6.58 for just a 9-second chat while attempting to reach DPD about my delivery. Their recorded message ominously warned of “ridiculous charges,” so we decided to cut the call short and sought out a different option instead.

I just noticed I've been hit with a bill of £6.65 for a fleeting 10-second call that I definitely didn't place. When I reached out to Vodafone, they explained that the charge was for a connection – likely to my voicemail. What a mystery!
